How does OppsCity work?

Published September 8, 2026

OppsCity turns achievement completion into an asynchronous rivalry: you play on your own schedule, then compare synced progress with an opp. An opp is another player you compete with. Xbox achievements synced from the platform are verified; manual check-offs, including PlayStation progress, are self-reported.

Follow the rivalry from setup to proof

Sign in with a one-time email code, then link your Xbox gamertag by placing the verification code in your Xbox bio. Linking establishes which account is yours; syncing brings its achievement progress into OppsCity.

Open Tracker to see your completion. Opp Match surfaces players at roughly your completion pace. Choose Beef to express interest or Duck to pass silently. A stranger becomes your opp only when you both choose Beef. Friends can also be added directly.

Radar shows who is ahead and who is gaining. Beef Feed records rivalry activity, including unlocks and passes. A pass means overtaking an opp. A receipt is a shareable result card showing completion percentages and events without achievement names.

Work through an example session

This is an illustrative workflow for @example, not a real player result. No completion figures are invented.

Know what the competition measures

OppsCity tracks achievement and trophy completion. It does not score custom stunts, invented points or an in-game race. You do not need to be online together: the comparison concerns recorded progress, not a shared play session.
